Orgs

Share boxes with a team through an org, with owners, admins and members.

An org is a slug several people work in. It owns boxes the way a user does; members start, stop, connect to and snapshot any of them, and remove or resize only the ones they created. Owners and admins manage the members.

kvbox org new acme --name "Acme Inc" # you are its owner
kvbox org members add bob --role admin --org acme
kvbox org members ls --org acme
kvbox org role bob member --org acme
kvbox org members rm bob --org acme # or remove yourself to leave
kvbox org ls # the orgs you are in

Naming a box in an org

kvbox new lab1 --org acme # creates acme/lab1; without --org a new box is yours
kvbox ls # yours and every org's (OWNER says private, or the org)
kvbox connect lab1 # a bare name: your own box, else the one org box called that
kvbox connect lab1 --org acme # when two orgs have a lab1 (or: kvbox connect acme/lab1)
kvbox ls --org globex # one org only

Nothing is stored: --org is per command, needed to create in an org and to break a tie. It goes before or after the command.

SSH follows the roles

Access to a box over SSH is a certificate the control plane issues, naming you and every org you are in, valid for a day. The CLI renews it before it connects, so leaving an org closes its boxes to you without anyone touching the boxes.
